K4 Specifications

These typical specifications will help you detail HardiColor™ Washroom Partitions for your project.

Supply and install washroom partitions as follows:

• Decorative finish to be HardiColor™ polyurethane system applied in colour (specify name/number) and finish (HardiColor™ Satin*/Stipple*).
  
  
• Divider panels to be 18mm HardiPanel™ Compressed (two piece) factory fabricated and secured to the back wall and HardiPanel™ Compressed frontal panels using aluminium channels.
  
  
• Frontal panels to be 18mm HardiPanel™ Compressed, factory-finished to match/contrast (select one) dividers, and installed with overhead channels. Frontals to be fixed to the floor using one of the following methods:
  1. base channels,
  2. 6mm brass dowels, or
  3. pedestals
• Headrail over doors to be finished with insert trim.
  
  
• Wall nib/s to be secured to side wall/s with aluminium channel.
  
  
• Where sheets are supplied unpainted, all exposed edges on frontals and nibs to be neatly arrised before painting.
  
  
• Cubicle doors to be either:
  • 18mm HardiPanel™ Compressed Sheet, or
  • 18mm highly moisture-resistant medium-density fibreboard
  (HMR MDF), coated on all surfaces and edges to match/contrast (select one) dividers and/or frontals.
  
  
• Door hardware, consisting of two bolt-through hinges (lift-off gravity or spring-loaded), one slotted indicator, one bolt and staple, one coat hook bumper, to be installed to hardware manufacturer's instructions.
